Terms of service.

By accessing and using Freelancer by Frey ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Platform.

These terms apply to all users of the Platform, including freelance crew, captains, recruiters, and vessel managers.

Freelancer by Frey is a job-sharing platform for freelance yacht and luxury hospitality roles. Our services include:

• Job posting and application functionality
• An internal messaging system to communicate between parties
• Professional user profiles and account management
• Tools designed to support short-term, freelance, and relief recruitment

We do not vet, certify, or guarantee any user or job posting.

When you register on the Platform, you must provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under your login credentials.

Sharing your login details or impersonating another individual is strictly prohibited.

You agree to use the Platform professionally and lawfully. You must not:

• Post misleading, fraudulent, or misrepresented jobs or profiles
• Harass or abuse other users
• Use the Platform for unlawful or exploitative activity
• Attempt unauthorised access or interfere with platform security

Accounts may be suspended or terminated at our discretion for violations.

Freelancer membership costs €50 per year and provides access to full job details, unlimited applications and in-platform messaging for 12 months.

Clients may purchase individual job credits (from €20 per credit) or an annual unlimited plan (€500/year). One credit allows one live posting.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Fees are shown clearly before purchase. Payments are final and non-refundable except as required by UK consumer law. You can cancel your membership or view your credit balance from your account.

We respect your privacy. Our practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your data in accordance with UK GDPR.

We will never sell your data. Your information is only shared with service providers as necessary to operate the Platform.

Freelancer by Frey operates the Platform solely as a digital service. We do not guarantee successful placements or verify user credentials.

We are not liable for:

• The accuracy of user content
• The outcome of any employment or engagement
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without liability, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or used the Platform improperly.

You may terminate your account at any time by discontinuing use or contacting our support team.

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
